Blackberry made a big (at least I think so) exposure move last night... Was major sponsor of the
Democractic Debate.... was not paying too much attention when the announcer said, " Welcome to
the Democratic Presidential Debates sposored by BLACKBERRY and the new Blackberry Priv!!!!!
First time I have seen anything by Blackberry on US tv in years!!! Throughout the debate there
were several advert spots for the Priv and several more announcements that the debate coverage
was being sponsored by Blackberry!!!! Nice!!!

Link? I'd be curious to see this too, because if it's true, then yes it would be the first time for me seeing BlackBerry advertise like this in quite some time now. The only television BlackBerry ads I can remember were for the BlackBerry PlayBook.

They won't have much success with these short, one off advertising campaigns. To get results they need to be advertising frequently for a protracted period of time.

Agree.... not sure how many watched that once "event" almost a month ago now.

I'm afraid that Chen and team are just hoping that the BlackBerry name alone is enough to sell at least a few phones.
