If you look at the high-res photo released by the White House of President Obama on the phone today with Vladimir Putin about Ukraine, you can see his unholstered smartphone sitting on his desk. Looks to me like the 9900/9930 series... it has the distinctively slim form factor of the last Bold to be released by BlackBerry. That's not what they outfitted him with when he took office (the 9900 wasn't available then) but it's what he's using now. BB should offer to upgrade him to the Q10, or the Q20 when they get it done.

I believe he's rocking a BB because they won't let him have an iPhone. I'm sure someone will chime in as to where i saw this.

It should be common knowledge that Obama has had a 9900/30 for a long, long time.

As stated above, it is purely for security reasons.

I bet he ends up with a Q20 though.

Truth be told if the 9930 had 4G - I would probably still be using it. It was a sweet phone.
