    I totally believe. I had two computers at work messed up by something apparently carried in banner ads. The site itself was innocent; just served up the ad package.

    This is one of the reasons why I prefer to pay for apps and services. The other reason why I prefer to pay is because the developer or business cares more about the customer when they are paid directly by the customer. When they are paid by ads they care more about the advertisers.
