yea new, now lets get down to business...

do i need to have at least one e-mail address specific for my phone (e.g. [email protected]) and then if i have another regular account i can have that stuff "pushed" to my phone. is this correct? and yes, i do have a data package selected.

can i have multiple contact lists? (e.g. Friends, Work, Hockey, etc.....)

do i really need a 3rd party software package to properly view e-mails and web pages correctly on the bb?

are the theme packages just for looks or do some provide useful advantages to the oem set-up?

any "must haves" to add?

You don't have to get a dedicated email for your phone. If you have an email like yahoo, gmail you can get that pushed to your phone.

As for your contact list you can put them under different categories and then filter to the category you want.

Yea 3rd party apps are needed to see email corectly. Untill the new os comes out. As for webpages you can get opera mini which allows you to go to any website.

For themes its more of a look. It doesn't make the bb run any better.

If your into news vigo is a great app. You can get the crackberry addition. Opera mini is a must have like I said above for webpage viewing.
