In my opinion the BB OS is more responsive and stable than WM based devices. I don't think you will regret your decision at all!

When I went to get a new phone I was considering the wing/curve/sidekick. I played around with them all a bit in the store and the obvious standout for the curve is the wifi.. there was a guy there that had the wing and I asked him how he liked it. He didn't, really. I have had my curve for almost 3 weeks and it's like I brought a new baby home. you will adore it!!

It's definitely going be more responsive because the processor is faster than the wing.

100,000 + members that can attest you you not regretting coming to BB. Some things you may miss might be would be built in office tools to edit/create documents. Even that can be cured going to the crackberry.com store or waiting for the 4.5 OS to be released.

I have a BJ II that I don't even touch because of my Curve. Even if I'm out of battery power, I don't even bother. Lol. Especially with the wing being a pretty slow device. Somethings you may not miss coming from winSLOW: lag in the OS, freezes/shutdowns & going through 20 different folders to get to a calculator!

Just from a stability standpoint WM can't hold a candle to the bb's OS

It was a "Berry" good decision! I switch from WM and once the learning curve was over, I didn't remember I used WM until I read your post.

I don't love mine, I like it. I'm gonna switch to the vx6700 or the 6800 in the near future. Only reason I don't like BB is that lack of 3rd party support and the fact you can't run almost anything like wm can. Stable though I will give it that.

My friend had a wing with wm and it had so many problems. It was super slow. She switched to the curve and loves it.

I was a long-time Treo user & BB is way better. You def made the right choice!

Look into Viigo, Google Maps, Berry411, & the CB launcher.. which enables one click access to Crackberry.

    welcome!

Converted from the 8525. It took me a while to come around, but now I love my 8800.
