I do not have my curve yet, but I will be getting it soon and I want to get a jump on making my contacts list.
Where can I download the BB 8330 desktop app so I can start, that way I can just sync it when I get it?
I have tried to search here, on sprint.com and bb.com.

well you should use outlook to make your contacts cause you cant use the device manager to do it
to get the dm tho go to blackberry.com and can download it from there

I thought when I had my pearl there was a calendar/contacts app.
I have no clue on bb.com which app to download.

chose blackberry desktop software 4.6 and you will get the device manager
your pearl has a calendar contacts app
contacts can sync with outlook or address book on mac using usb (using dm)
calendar can do wireless sync with gmail or usb with outlook and ical (using dm)
