Well I did it
I gave up my Trio 700 and now own a very nice Curve from Verizon. I find myself touching the screen every now and then, but other that that I love this thing.
Still trying to figure things out and going to hit the newbie’s section very soon.
Few things that are frustrating me is how the **** do I get on the web. I have hit the icon and it does not do anything.
In addition, what is the red arrow in the upper right hand corner of my screen? What does it mean?

I did some screen tapping when I switched from my treo. It was a little hard to get used to, but now I like not having a touch screen. If I'm holding a handful of stuff I don't have to worry about pushing buttons on my screen!

Welcome to Crackberry!! Have you signed up and logged in to your carriers BIS site? If so go to it and select the "send service books" and after getting them, pull the battery without turning the phone off, wait 2 minutes, re-insert and try again. Remember that a battery pull will fix about 85% of all problems!! Have fun and enjoy.

Welcome to the community. I just left the Treo also but, have never touched the screen. Wasn't a big touch screen user, mainly used the navigation screen.
