My friend has my charger and right now I have his pearl charger. He said the charger should work but it doesn't charge even though it fits. Is it supposed to be able to charge either phones or no?

The Pearl and the Curve both use the same charger so it should work. They use a universal USB connection. Are you using the wall charger or trying to charge it on your PC?

I was using a wall charger. The charging synbol next to the battery would come up for a second then stop. I was able to borrow a friends car charger and is working fine so it may have been the charger itself

Don't put the charger in all the way. I have that issue with my wall charger in the office (oem). At 75% inserted I can get it to charge.

Try that, and don't be afraid to move it around a bit to find the right charging position.
