    My friend got a used blackberry pearl and now he is having trouble setting up his email. It keeps telling him that the pin number is already used. So what do we need to do? Thanks for the help!!

    You need to delete the old email account from the device.

    Hard reset won't do anything. If you want the easiest route, call your carrier and have them remove the acct.

    Your friend may need to contact the person whom he got the BB from and have them get the PIN released from their Blackberry Internet Service account.
