exactly why is a bb locked? how does it become unlocked? how do i know if one i locked? what else do i need to know?

what would i do if i got a new bb on e bay or used from a rogers network or something like that and i wanted to use it on the sasktel net work?

phones are locked to the provider. to unlock it you would need to have an unlock code.
