Uncaught exception: ?

what does this mean, I just pulled hte battery out and put it back in, and got this message:

Uncaught exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException

any ideas?

dude, you're screwed. your berry is totally bricked and is only good as a paperwight from this point forward. that is if you don't mind a paperweight that smokes and will electrocute you when touched.

no- seriously - it's not that big a deal. Do forum search for "uncaught exception." there are a lot of CB geniuses who will walk you thru the steps to fix - nothing is permanent with a berry except maybe running it over with you car or setting it on fire or bathing with it or dipping it in lave or.....

ok thanks, still having issues with Pocketmac, and I am close to throwing it in the bin anyhow.

pocketmac def has a bunch of bugs in it. i know they have new updates out but its still not perfect, especially depending on wat kind of mac you have.
i used to get uncaught exceptions all the time. the only thing i did to eliminate this prob was upgrade the os. havent had a prob since
