Two Email Accounts but Only Need One

Yep, I'm a newbie, and I know it shows. ;)

My BB shows two email accounts: One is called messages, the other one is labeled with my email address. Here's the catchy part. The emails from my computer are actually going into the "messages" box, but none go into the box labeled with my email account. Obviously I don't need the one showing my email account label, no? How do I delete that, or should I?

Also, is there a way to change the app icons to a list, instead? Does that require a different theme?
