when i turn off my bb it tells me when its going to automatically turn it back on. i am going on a cruise in a week and have heard horror stories about being charged lots of money on ships just for recieving calls/voicemails/e-mails. how can i stop it from turning itself other then taking the battery out?
go to settings/options, then Auto On/Off, make both options say DISABLED.
it says disabled...but when i turn it off it still says its going to turn it on on X day at X time....
Remove battery! LOL! ThIt wan't turn on for sure...
Sounds like a little software glitch. If you don't have the most current software version, try an upgrade. That should fix it. If you have the most current, try reloading it. That should fix it too. As always, backup first. ;)
If you have it set to have a daily alarm, then it will turn on at the time of the alarm. try turning your alarm off then turn off your phone. it shouldn't say that it will turn on again..
