    So I bought this really new unlocked bold 9000 from a friend. He got it working on AT&T for about a month before he sold it to me because he switched to an iPhone 3Gs. Thing is, once I took it to the AT&T store and put a new SIM into it with a blackberry plan and everything, bbm and all the other BIS features still doesn't work. The 3G icon on the top right doesn't have the blackberry logo next to it. The people in the AT&T store couldn't do anything to fix that. I called customer service and was on the phone with them for over an hour and they still couldn't help. My PIN and IMEI are registered on AT&T's BIS site with an email.
    What's the problem?
    the only problem I see is that my friend might not have unpaired his BIS account from the PIN, but when I was on the line with AT&T customer support they said there's no other account paired to the PIN.
    can anyone help me please?

    Menu (the key with bb logo) - options - advanced options - Host Routing Table - menu - Register Now.
