You will be fine, don't fret. Conquer it!
True, some find a steep learning curve on the BB, but it is quite intuitive and fun to use to boot. Sit down, play with it and enjoy.
I might also suggest you download the PDF file for Stinsonddog's Tips for the 8300 and read through them AND practice them as you read the tips. You will be an expert in no time.

will i be able to do all the original things like tmobile? and will there be any complications with this setup
Yes, you will be able to do all you want, and not complications. You will still see the AT&T flash screen, and you cannot remove that, it stays.
You won't have the 5-faves icons on your screen, but you will still be able to use the function.
But you can get the Five Faves icons if you want.
ok i thought so...and one more question...i cant use wifi since i have the gps version correct?
Correct, there is not WiFi on the 8310
but i can still use the gps even though i'm with tmobile? or is that a data charge with att???
Yes, you can use the GPS regardless. You can purchase and use TeleNav, which rocks and is the best... or another free GPS app like Nav4All, Google Maps, etc
how do i get the faves icons??
welcome to cb youll love the curve like i do! its the best thing since sliced bread
Follow this guide and you can get your MyFaves theme back.
This will also help maximize your memory.
