Hello everyone! I have had my new BB Pearl now for about a month and I LOVE it....

At some point when I set up my device either on the web or the device itself I made the horrible mistake of choosing to receive HTML email. Now I have to roller ball through pages of junk before I see the email text. People that use Outlook Stationary or Incredimail cause me lots of heart burn when I am on my Crackberry trying to read an incoming email.

Can one of you Crackberry experts please tell me how to turn html email off please? I would be most appreciative. Thanks

Blackberry's need a 3rd party app to render the html in the e-mails. The favorite is BBSmart which I personally use and love the way that it handles all my e-mails.

Thanks, I suppose that BBSmart costs or is it freeware? Where do I find it? Guess I should utilize Google now huh?

You will like the program, I have BBSmart and it has been great! When you get a smartphone, you generally wind up buying software to personalize it to your everyday life or business needs. Check it out! you will not regret the purchase.

I installed BBSmart and it works great with one TINY problem. Even with my glasses on I can barely SEE the e-mail fonts.

Under BBSmart Options you can change the font type and size.

It appears that the only time you can change settings is when you are using it to view a message. Is that correct? I just looked at all the program icons on my device and do not see a new one for BBsmart. Thanks
