I work for a corporation who uses a BES server with microsoft exchange server. When I first got my Curve I signed up with at&t to get the $45 data plan which allowed me to work with BES. A couple of weeks later we ran out of licenses and someone with more seniority than me got a BB and my license got taken away. When that happened I switched to the $30 BB personal data plan. Since then my company has ordered more licenses and I was the first to get one. My question is do I have to change back to the $45 plan to use BES? Will I just not be able to connect to the BES server if I dont switch back to the $45 plan? Or will it work and then I end up getting charged somehow by at&t?

    Thanks for all the help!

You will need the $45 plan.

Well if there's anyone to believe it would be an at&t manager lol =) Thanks!

Since my license got taken away I've just been using BIS, and while it is a tad bit slower, and annoying keeping my laptop and outlook running through the night, I just dont know if I want to pay the extra $15 again =(

Oh well, this will all be solved when the 3g iphone comes out ^^

Your company doesn't pick up the tab, but let's your BES it up? Lol.

Unlimited everything here, but you wouldn't expect anything less from an AT&T manager. hehe

Without BES plan, your BB won't accept the password.
