Subscribed threads email notification?

so i want to subscribe to certain forums and get the email of all new threads....when i select forum tools > subscribe> get notifications daily, i receive nothing.


Also, is there a way to receive instant notifications of new threads, say within the sub-forum of Third pary storm apps?

ok so it was apparently a lot of lag. the forums started to show up in my subscriptions.

the second question still remains "is there anyway to get instant email notification?"
