Ok, so at the moment, I don't have a data plan. But.... I will, soon. I am addicted and MUST take advantage of my new little friend's capabilities. And I want to take advantage of the special on software today... If I buy some software, will I be able to download it later to the BB (like, is it saved in my acct?) and can I download it to the computer first then add to bb? Can the apps go on the media card or must they be on device mem? How do I know how much device mem I have and how many apps can be saved?

And lastly, if i decide I don't like an app and want it gone, how can I delete it?
Thanks for the help, fellow Crackberry-heads.

For the BBSmart Alarms Pro and the BBSmart Shortcuts software promos and deals going on today, you do not necessarily need a data plan.

You do not have to install these on your device OTA, but you can install them through Desktop Manager!!

*EDIT* (more info) : You cannot save applications to your media card without the help of a third party application. This is really not beneficial, in my opinion. You will save insignificant amounts of memory by using the third party app to store applications on the microSD. If you are looking to free up memory on your device, then follow Stoner's Guide or John Clark's Guide (links in my sig!).

If you end up deciding you do not like any app, you can delete them using Desktop Manager or through your devices Advanced Options!

    Hope that can all help!

I was just saying I can't go online or download anything straight to the phone... yet, bc I don't have ANY bb internet (it makes me sad). So i wanted to see if I could save apps for a later download from the BB. I'm on a mac so Desktop Manager isn't an option, but perhaps Pocketmac once I get it to work, so I'll give that a shot. What is OTA?
