I love it so far, and I've been seeing a lot about 'opera' and 'pandora' what are those exactly?

Browser choice is really personal preference, I prefer to use Opera, but that is just me. I also prefer Slacker Radio over Pandora.

Opera is a browser, and Pandora is a radio app. There are other alternatives to each. Like there is Bolt Browser that is an equivalent to Opera, only better IMO. Pandora is like Slacker, but better IMO. There is also Iheartradio, and a few other radio applications as well.
