what are 3rd party applications?
i'm pretty sure it's programs/applications that aren't developed by RIM, but works on RIM devices.
kind of like those universal remotes that works on your t.v.
They are applications that are not pre-installed on the phone. So, like games or anything that you need to install yourself :D

and i use a curve :)
