Is there a faster way to send sms messages than pressing the bb button and choosing send? On aim I can just press the enter key to send msgs. How can I set the same for sms msgs?

The light on my device is constantly on. How do I turn off?

Also, I have a new symbol. It's a circle with a vertical and horizontial line in it. It looks like a 4 cut pizza. Does this have anything to do with the light?
