I don't have my 8330/8830 yet, as I'm waiting for my PPC6800 to bite the dust once more (for the 4th time. This time I'm exchanging it). My question is this: I'll be in the Air Force soon, and thusly PROBABLY deploying at some point, to somewhere. I'm on Alltel right now, who, like Verizon, uses CDMA. I was curious though, since the 8830 has CDMA and GSM, would it be better to go with that, or should I just get the unlock code and switch to another carrier with the 8330 (or pay an exorbitant amount for infinite roaming?)?
