    I have a friend that has an 8830 that won't sync.... it used to, but now the Blackberry Desktop Manager doesn't show that the device is connected, but yet the machine 'dings' when it's connected to the USB port, AND it shows the 'connected time' under one of the advanced tabs(not sure where exactly now, as the machine isn't in front of me). Regardless, it won't sync.... I tried uninstalling the software, and changing the USB port used, and neither worked.

    Any ideas Crack addicts??

    restart the computer and reset the phone with a bat pull. it should work then

    another option is here https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22 in the drop down menu select the drivers and usb and try that

    that if you pull on a bat, it might bite you. unless we are talking about a baseball bat...i guess you could pull on one of those all you want.
