    i'm a newbie and i'm having issues syncing BB with the outlook calendar. when i try to configure the syncing, outlook is not even an option. i know this has probably been asked before, but i can find the answer and it's driving me nuts. this is why i bought the thing--for the calendar/organization! i even uninstalled and reinstalled desktop manager to see if that helped (it didnt). any advice? TIA!!

    What version of Outlook do you have? Desktop manager 4.3 and newer has dropped support for Outlook 2000. If that is your case, then I would recommend upgrading your version of Outlook.

    What version of DM? Did you install DM using an admin account?

    Did you install it from a user account that has admin rights?

    make sure you check the Synchronize Organizer Data box.

    I would also say upgrade to DM 4.6.

    BTW, there is no such thing as Outlook 2006, it's prolly 2007...
