I was one of the first ones to own a Blackberry Curve in May when they were released. I loved it, had it all summer, until the LG Dare came to Verizon and my Friend & His little brother convinced me to sell my Berry and get the Dare.

Well, The day after I saw my berry walk away in the hands of another, I went and got the Dare.

BY FAR THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE i had it for all of 1 week until I returned it.

So I was without a phone for the last month. Thinking about a phone that would be like the blackberry, almost got the EnV2, the Palm Centro and the Voyager but none of these phones were like the Curve lol.

so I finally broke down and bought another one and it's coming tomorrow :P I was so lost without it. its by far the best phone Verizon carries. And after seeing the Thunder Storm berry, and how the touch is a click, I think I'll be sticking with this phone until they release the Bold.

Congrats on going back to the crackberry.

I was sooooo close to getting the Dare, but something inside me just told me to go the other route and I got my first Blackberry.

So glad I did! I feel like I would've just gotten really frustrated with the Dare, and the blackberry offers so much more!

The dare was by far the worst phone ever invented. It has a good idea, and a good look. but the touch was SO ANNOYING. it was Nothing like the iPhone. the keyboard was too small to type and you usually ended up hitting other keys trying to hit the one you wanted. sometimes it'd turn upside down without even turning it. It was basically a slimmer version of the voyager.

The one thing I did like about it though was it had a Favorite thing like TMobile where you could pick up to 8 favorites, and display their pix and stuff. it was kind of neat. but that was it.

yeah i made the mistake and bought the instinct had it for about a week and then bought the curve 8330 which i wanted all along

man its all good I kinda did the same thing. I had an iPhone, sold it and got an 8300. then someone gave me another iPhone so I sold the 8300. Now I have found my way back to the 8310, and waiting on the Bold. Im so glad I dont have an iPhone anymore!

Omg. It came today and Wow. Why did I even THINK ABOUT going to another phone other then a blackberry. The operating system, the cusmtomization, the free ringtones from CB.com, Real time Yahoo IM, AIM IM, Google Search. holy crap.

Now just need them to release 4.5 and maybe get the Bold and I'll be set

I was a total n00b all over again though. I Forgot all my BB Knowledge and was back to "omg what do I do now" again lol. it was quite amusing.

Welcome back to CB and i almost did the same as u i was gonna buy the iphone and one of my friends showed me his BlackBerry Curve...After that i had to get a BlackBerry.

You should take a look at the Nokia E71. Thats a fine phone and waiting for it to arrive. Unfortunately no US carriers have picked it up. Dont get me wrong, the Curve is my first BB and i really love it. None of the other modles did anything for me, but this is a damn fine phone, and that coming from a nokia guy is something.

To me, that looks like a Combination of the Curve & Bold. I've never owned a Nokia Cell phone. Probably never will. Everyone I've ever known who has had one, they've crapped out after a couple of months.
