Hello all,
I have been reading about for a few weeks now. I have officially taken the plunge and got a AT&T Curve 8310. This will be my first BB, replacing my 1st generation iphone. I am anxiously awaiting the official release of the bold for AT&T as well.
In preperation of the UPS delivery coming tomorrow, I would like to get as much set up before I get my BB so I have less wait time. I'm very inpatient.
My question is, can I, or should I download the Blackberry software from blackberry.com and install it before I get my BB? If so, what version should I use? I see there are multiple available. Any help that anyone could provide would be appreciated. I have learned quite a bit, just from reading these forums. I'm really looking forward to my first berry. Thanks!
I assume you're talking about the Desktop Manager? There's no rush to download it because its of no use until you get your device. The CD will come in the box so you can install it once it arrives.
If you are talking about the beta OS, I would suggest waiting and getting to know your device before making the beta plunge.
