I have no new messages anywhere. I've cleared all messages in all inboxes, but yet the little yellow envelope at the top of my screen says I have one new message. Can anyone give me a way to get rid of it?

Try pulling the battery out for 30 seconds .. see if that helps

I actually tried that with no luck. I've looked on BB help on the phone itself, nothing. Any other thoughts?

Could be a missed call or a voice mail? To check you missed calls, to to messages, press the BB (menu) button, then select View Folders, select Missed Calls. Do this to view other folders too, also look in View Saved Messages which is just under View Folders.
