    Welcome to CrackBerry.com!

Which BlackBerry are you about to buy? Depending on where you are, verify if you want full keyboard (QWERTY), am sure you're use to it from using the Treo, or if you want a smaller one...

Either way, I suggest the 8800, or the 8100 (Pearl)

Maybe I won't get a Blackberry. I don't want to be single again. Thanks for the warm welcome. It's much appreciated.

I'm new to Crackberry and looking for a BB right now... Converting over from a Treo 650 which I have been using for 2 years without issue. I am a construction consultant constantly on the road - with little space or ability to connect a laptop from work locations. I need to deal with about 100 business and 20 personal emails daily. My main client has "suggested" that I convert over to a BB and they will cover the cost.

Contemplating whether to go to Cingular today to buy a Pearl or 8800 now or wait for the Curve. Like the full keyboard and the camera. Don't need GPS (have it already in my truck) Any suggestions?

    Welcome to CrackBerry.com!

I say 8800, all the way. Remember you've been using a Treo for quite a while, and am sure you're now use to a full keyboard (QWERTY). So why deviate from that...

To me, if I want a camera, I'd buy one, thus it's not compulsory for me to have it on my device. But, of course, that's just my opinion...

I would personally suggest wait for the Curve. The 8800 is great, but if you like full keyboard and camera, then the Curve is your only option. Should be available one of these days......

Yes... but which "one of these days" for the Curve?

I'm hearing conflicting reports... one local Cingular store says the Curve will be in by 5/23, the manager of another store says Cingular may delay until sometime in July.

Looks like the Curve just got FCC approval, so I'm expecting AT&T to make the release announcement soon. Unfortunately that still doesn't really give us any idea. Sorry.
