    Some of the posts I've seen refer to sideloading. I really don't know what that is. Anyone care to explain
    Thanks

    Gladly!Sideloading is an alternative way of getting apps on your device. You basically force them into the phone. To do that, you need the app file (.BAR) and a third party software. As yu probably know, BB10 can run ported android apps and sidelaoding is the usual way to get manually ported apps into the device.

    BAR files can be found all over the forums and various sites.

    Here is my prefered way of doing it, I believe it is the easiest! BB10 App Manager Chrome extension gets an update - Still the easiest way to sideload | CrackBerry.com

    Thanks very much for the reply. Not sure what apps are out there besides the ones offered by BlackBerry that I would use but nice to know there are options.
    Last question. A direct link to the 10.2 download is much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Just keep in mind that:
    1. Loading leaks using autoloaders will revert your device to factory settings, you'll lose everything in the device memory and all settings will go bye bye. So move your media to the SD card and backup using BB Link (or Sachesi);
    2. 10.2 is the natural evolution of 10.1... but if is soooo much better.
