Hey everyone! Just thought I'd pop in and reintroduce myself!

I used to be a huge Blackberry addict ~2009 with my Curve 8310 and later my Bold. I used to create custom themes for Blackberry OS that I uploaded to the old Crackberry forums and sites like DeviantArt.

I didn't know it then, but that hobby of mine was the gateway to my now-interests in Software Engineering and UI design.

A lot has changed around here since then, and with my first BB since 2009 on the way now, I'm excited to get back into it!

You will love it but never quite as much as BB10. My prediction, anyway. But if we have to go android it's the best android in the universe. I need to have control over my data-slurping, and it gives me lots of ways to ' turn things off.' I still don't like having to decide which apps to use to open things, not always having the perfect one that will do exactly what I want yet, or not knowing how to give an app the permission it says it needs to open something (telling me I brought it to the 'wrong folder' ARRGH), also the quagmire file system which often, but not always, has me searching for my stuff that I just downloaded.

Still on my droid-learning curve(!) but other than that it's pretty friendly unlike my previous droid experience five years ago (which drove me to run to find my First BlackBerry!) and life goes on and gets better .
