New CB (addict??)

Hi all! I am new to the site. Just got my first BB about 3 weeks . . . it's a beautiful 8130 and I can tell you that coming from just a regular camera phone that I am IN LOVE. I can't believe all the wonderful things that come with my new "upgraded" phone . . . I don't know how I will survive from here on out without it . . . :D

I still have some issues with copying items from the browser, then pasting them into a new page. Trying to edit them is the trick--for some reason if the words run together (I'm guessing this is the issue??) it won't let me come out of the "edit" mode. Anyone have any suggestions or am I just doing this all wrong???

Welcome to CB celestial person. What exactly are you trying to copy? Text? And what are you trying to copy it to?

Yes, I am copying text, and I am trying to copy it back into another text box within another web page.

Get to your desired text...

Press the menu key (BB logo left of trackball) > Select mode... > slide the ball around the text > menu key > copy

Go to new text box...

Menu key > paste

I can do all that . . .that's not the problem. It's when I paste a text item which was originally in HTML to just a plain text box, all the words become meshed together, so when I go to change words, it won't come off the "edit" mode--maybe it's as simple as just pressing "return"? Am I thinking too hard into this?? Also, if anyone can answer this . . . my friend and I were able to connect on BB Mess. She has Cell One (AT&T) and I (obviously) have Sprint. However, my other friend and I, who has Cingular (again, AT&T now) are still "pending" in each others contact lists and have not received "add me" messages from the other. Does anyone know why this is??

Also, speaking of BB Messenger . . . feel free to PIN me!

In BBM try:

menu key (BB logo left of trackball) > Add cont > Hover over [use once] > Menu key > req by PIN > enter the PIN > menu key > continue...

if that doesn't work you'll have to wit it out, sorry!
