Hi!
I'm kind of a geekette with smartphones... Lol
After being with a few years on iphones, followed by Samsung Galaxy and HTC One, a bit of time with Sony xperia, I'm now with a Blackberry Q5 and a Curve 9360!
Surprisingly, the sound quality and antenna on the Curve is, by far, surperior than on the Q5!

First off, welcome to CrackBerry!
Please update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. (It still says you have a Treo 680!!!) This makes it easier for others to help you.
One thing about your Q5 antenna comment: This can be greatly affected by the OS version. The next update might have a better radio file for you that fixes it. So far BB10 devices generally seem better for signal & sound quality, for me anyway.

May I ask why a Curve and a Q5? I'd settle for the Q5 alone! :rotfl:

Why the Curve over the Q5? The main reason is that I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and I can't open my hands very much... The Q5 is larger and thicker than the Curve. Second reason is that people told me often that the sound on the Curve was way better than on the Q5 (wich is on 10.3.0.908).
I will may be use the Rogers leak 10.3.1 just to see...

Welcome to Crackberry! I find the sound quality on the Q10 is so clear compared to the Z30 on OS 10.3.1 so I'm not sure if the Q5 will be the same as the Q10 if you install the leak. Just give it a try ;)

Welcome to Blackberry. Could you share your journey from almost phone & OS, landing to blackberry? I am hardcore user of blackberry since last 10 yrs and have used all touch devices starting from 9500 (Storm1), 9520(Storm2), 9800, 9860, Z10 and Z30.
I've had so many phones! Let's see... I had some flip phones Kyocera, Samsung, Motorola razr, Palm Treo 680, I had the first iphone (wich I bought in the USA in 2007. The last Apple product I've had is the iphone 4. After thst I bought a Samsung Note 2, followed by Samsung Galaxy S3, Motorola razr i, Xperia ray (I've bricked it and still looking to unbrick!), htc one m7, and last but not least, Blackberry Q5 and Blackberry Curve 9360... Probably going to sell my Q5, because it is a bit large for my hands. :) I think I forgot one or two handsets, but that's about it!
Hum... I think i'm a bit passionate about phones! Lol

Experiment with diferrent radios for the Q5, I'm sure you can get it to at the very least match that Curve on call quality!
Yes, that is exactly what I am looking for... I am searching the forum as we speak for a "how to flash radios"... Don't want to brick this phone! I know the feeling since I bricked a few Android phones! ;)
