Hello i just recently bought the bb curve 8310,I love it but im still lost on what to do to it.Any ideas? I want to add games to it but i dont have a data plan to do that
Welcome to CB. If you want to install games but dont have a data plan you can download them to your PC, load the Desktop manager on your pc and then plug your BB up to your computer and transfer the games over that way.
Honestly if you don't get the data plan there is not much that you can do with it. The 8310 does not have wifi. Looks like you are with at&t you can add a data plan that is unlimited with 200 sms for 35 bucks or one that is unlimited with unlimited sms for 50 bucks. It might seem like a lot to spend but one thing to remember with at&t is that if you want the rebate you have to put a bb plan on

I would get the data plan,but i share a plan with my parents and they would complain about how a phone should be used to talk on and not the internet and blah blah you know. Yes i am aware i could transfer games over to my phone from a pc, but do you know any good websites beside magmic?

Dude you are missing it. Tell the folks that you need that data plan for school. Make up some crap about not wanting to miss any emails from teachers and stuff like that. If that doesn't work you could always pay for it your self.
Side note. I can barley type on a real keyboard anymore
