I have a question if you don't mind....I installed the desktop software so I can transfer contacts from my treo to the curve. It recognizes both phones, but when I click on the Wizard to do the swapping, it says the computer is not connected to the internet. It is, and it is connected directly from the internet to my PC. I don't know why it needs internet to swap info, but it will go no further than this point because it says it needs internet. I have installed and uninstalled many times, and still have the same problems. Does anyone have any ideas? I really hate to have to type all that info into my Curve if I don't have to!
I have used the Switch Device Wizard a
number of times and the internet has never
come into play. When you install DM there
are two options (can't remember what they
are called, not reinstalling to find out) one
for Corporate and one for Personal. Maybe
you are choosing the wrong one when installing.
Yes, running XP, and I installed the second option, because the first time I did the first option and it told me that was wrong. Oh and I forgot all about this, but when I installed the software, both from the CD and the downloaded version, I got these error messages, and that may be why it's not working, but it gives errors every time I installed it!
