You are going to love it. I have the Curve from Sprint (red one) and I love it. Its by far the best smartphone I have ever owned, and I'm judging it against the iphone 3g, treo 680, Pearl and Treo 755p.

Welcome to the addiction too! I have the 8330 with Sprint service and couldn't be happier. Fine phone, excellent service. The GPS is a great addition and if you get Sprints all you can eat plan (SEP) you'll have unlimited use of Sprint Navigator, their turn by turn directions system. The only thing that might make me change from the 8330 is some future version of the BB Storm that has Sprint service.
