I haven't had the opportunity to try this combination and want to know the answer before it comes up. If I am talking on the BB cell phone and I have it on speaker I know I can switch to another App such as Tasks or Memos. While I am typing a note and talking to my contact on the phone, if I type the letter "S" will the phone switch off of speaker?

I don't think so. In the speaker mode , I think you then have to press the speakerphone button again to return to a normal handset call, or hang up to end the call. Welcome to CRACKberry by the way. Have fun and enjoy!!

Nope. I multitask in speakerphone all the time. The only way to turn off the speakerphone is to press the speakerphone button again.

Yes, you also have to be in the phone application.

Do you have a bluetooth its much easier to accomplish what you are trying to do with no worries.
