what is the fastest way to jump to applications when you are on the phone? Like I need to set up an appointment?

just press the menu key (left of the pearl) during your call. there are options to view address book, calender, etc. you can also exit outta the call screen and back to the homescreen while in the phone call, just be sure not to hit the end-call button when trying to get out of an app...that'll hang up your call. I learned that the hard way...a couple times...

there is no menu key on the 8703. from what i can tell the only way to get back to the home screen or menu screen is to keep hitting the back button. Gotta be a better way when you are on a call??

Push in the clickwheel while a call is active and it should bring up the menu and then you can select homescreen, view calendar, messages or whatever.....ok?
