You can not buy a program to change the color of the Curve trackball because there is only a white LED under it.

If you want to color your trackball you can use a piece of tape and color it with a sharpie marker. It is really simple to do. I currently have a turquoise trackball using this method. I change mine frequently. With the wide range of Sharpie colors now a days you have a multitude of colors to choose from Have fun. Here are the step by step directions.

Yeah, my trackball is a nice dark blue. I used the tape method. I and thinking about doing the same with the keyboard LEDs.

Ooooh that sounds like a nice idea, a colored keyboard. How do you do that?

Use a colored post-it flag over your trackball led. The color is bright and even and won't fade as easily as using a sharpie or nail polish on a piece of tape. I have a pink ball

I was just thinking. Having seen a handful of threads pop up periodically on this topic. What about colored celefane (sp?)? It's that stuff used for gifts that is like transparancy sheets but not quite as thick. I think you can get it at places like fabric/craft stores.

Yea I think I think cellophane might last a lot longer than the tape don't they use cellophane for like strobe lights?

so basically the only bb that can have the track ball change color is the pearl
and if you have the curve or world edition you have to color it yourself .........seems like alot of work and good luck to all those that want to color their track ball don't mess it up
