Just wanted to stop by and say hi. I had been using the iphone for quite sometime 1st generation and then upgraded to the iphone 3g. As much as I tried to convince myself to stay with the iphone, the cons outweighed the pros of the device. I have switched back to my trusty, dependable, and durable blackberry. Can't wait for the BB Bold to be released.
Now that I'm officially back to the berry I soon hope to be an active contributor to the forums!
I keep trying to convince the guys here to go with a berry. I've heard only bad things about the i phone.
Repeated dropped calls, not reliable "push" e-mail, the difficulty typing when in a hurry and no keys, made it an easier decision for me to switch. The iphone is a great media/entertainment device; however, when using it heavily for business, it still needs a lot of work IMHO.
I agree, our company gives the users a choice of phones, so we do have a few iPhones out there. The thing that annoyed me about them was how badly the screen would smudge. My BB gets smudgy too, but not as bad.
I think the iPhone is good for certain people and bad for others. Pick your flavor, so to speak

Welcome to CrackBerry - and back to the BlackBerry.
I went with a Curve on Verizon myself, even though I'm a "Mac-guy" and the iPhone was something most of my friends thought would have been my so called "logical choice".
Bleh. Like you mentioned, it's a great entertainment device - but for serious business use? Please.
