hey all just joined verizon wireless last sunday, comming from alltel. i got the voyager as a first phone because of the text messaging and man after i got this curve i was like, man the voyager is a crap phone compared to this haha.
any way got my phone 2 days ago and loving it and just wanted to say hiya!
I had 3 defevtive Voyagers, after the 3rd the tech support from VZW suggested the Curve. Had it now for 3 or 4 months and I'm glad he did. Only thing that sucks compared to Voyager is video playback. I can't play anything fullscreen on my Curve

i belive its the first one hehe. I love my berry i have been on it non stop pretty much since i got it haha, this was my first day charging it so i got about a day and 1/2 and i am very impressed. my old voyager got about eh 12-14 hours haha, and yes this is the first phone i have actually been satisfied with.
i was wondering a few things on the bb's
on this chat style text is there any kinda "skin" (not sure what to call it) for chat style texting . kinda like the LG scoop and LG ax565 for alltel. Really like that feature.
is there any really great things i need to have on this?

yea did some searches on the 8330 before i bought it and found thread on this site and was like nifty =). i've been usin the bb messenger today and its nice!!!! already have2 friends after 3 days. now just to find if i can use txt in chat style dont like defualt one as much
I am in my first full day of the Curve. I switched from the Palm Treo and completley satisfied! I could not believe how much better it was than the Treo - and I am only in my first day!
grats scooter =). my husband told me that i should put velcro in my hand just so i wont drop it cuz its always in my hand haha. I will convert him he knows he wants one.
