I just recently upgraded from my pearl to the 8330 curve and I love it!! I'm still a newbie though

I've been having problems with my internet, sometimes during the day I'll try to acess the internet, only to find that I can't I go to manage connections, and my internet server would say "not connected" even though I didn't do anything. The only solution I've come up with so far is a battery pull, and then I'm connected again. What's going on, and can I fix it without a battery pull?

Also, a super newb question, why do we do battery pulls? Instead of powering off and then back on? Its such a hassle

Battery pulls will clean up the berry where shutting off won't. The internet sounds like a carrier issue. You shouldn't have to do a pull to get service.
