I had a G1 until about 4 days ago. I was outside enjoying the awesome weather we were having with my roommates dog until she tried to jump the fence. My phone was on my lap at the time and when I stood up to get the dog, the phone went flying landing face down on our cement walkway.

Truth be told, I didn't like the battery life that much, anyway.
I hit up craigslist to see if I could find a good deal on a phone. Someone was trading an 8700g for a Nintendo DS Lite. I had a DS and I needed a phone. So now I have a crackberry.
While there are some apps for the G1 that I'll miss (Gmote, mostly), I can't see me leaving the blackberry and I've only had it for 4 days. Now I'm constantly on CL looking for a good deal on a curve. :P I've almost got my wife wanting one now, too.
