I like google maps better and would like the memory from deleting blackberry maps but I just want to make sure I could redownlad bb maps if I chose to do so later on.
I have never had an app that actually uses it...but to each his/her own, and to answer the question, yes...if you delete it you can reload it using the desktop manager.
You have to have your OS downloaded on your computer, then when you hook your BB up to desktop manager and add/remove programs, click on BB maps to add it back in. I've done it, and I choose to stick with google maps myself.
