Are you moving songs, ringtones, pics, etc. to the media card?
What is your File Free currently??
How about after a device reset??
Follow the Memory Optimization Procedure in the HowTo section of the forum :)

everything is stored to my memory card and i have 1.4Gigs of free memory i constantly have to delete my txt and my call logs and my browser memory it seems like i have to do this about 3 to 4 times a week
resetting my device dosent seem to help the only thing that helped was wiping it and i did that about a week ago and i also reformatted my memory card
1.4 gb is not possible - the phone only comes with 64 mb.
no i have 1.4 Gb free on my memory card out of 1.8 Gb and i have 18MB free on my phone memory and it keeps dropping
Oh I see. Got confused there. Which applications have you downloaded?
The File Free is a completely different number than the memory free on your media card
The media card is used for media files only and has nothing to do with device memory...
Yes, you can store pics, ringers, wallpapers, videos, etc on the microSD to help free up device memory... But applications, messages, call logs, etc take up device memory
Please go to Options/Status/file free
If this is lower than 12,xxx,xxx then you are running low on memory (the root of your problems)
Check out the memory optimization thread!!!

i had about 24MB after reset and i have 18MB now
Hmmm. Doesn't seem like too much. Just be sure to limit what you store in device memory to keep your phone running optimally.
Many members have followed these procedures and have no problems with memory. Look at both of these:

Also, press alt+LGLG, menu key, clear log. After that, do a battery pull. And I do these at least twice a week - alt+right shift+del (soft reset). Or alt+right shift+del, when the screen turns white, alt+right shift+del again (double soft reset).
Hope this helps!
thanks for the information i have one more question if i install a later os will it help me on phone memory?
When you say later, do you mean 4.5? I would familiarize myself with your phone first. Some members have had problems after upgrading. But in case you want to proceed, look here:

Also, make sure you are closing applications properly.
Do not just back out of the app or hit the End button.
Go to Menu > Close
No. It is larger then the previous version buy quite a lot.
In addition to the v4.2 support, there are new applications for Video, Voice Notes and DocsToGo.
You mentioned 24 Mb after a reset, that is a quite respectable amount of memory. You must have already removed the samples and other memory consuming stuff.
It is a lot of phone memory for now but in a few days i will have low phone memory and i have been closing out all of my aplications. I am now deleting any aplication that i dont use if it dosent get better i may sell the bb
oh i forgot to say this phone is only a month old and i have wiped it 3 times

i deleted the browser cache and cleared my txt messages and cleared my call logs then i deleted some unused apps from the aplications menu and now i am up to 26MB but i dont know how long it will last
