how to text overseas!!!

Help,

I am a new Pearl owner (2 months) and a friend sent me his Belgium GsM #- how can Isend him a message? What do I use? Where do I put it? I got the int'l call feature with verizon- now do I email with it, sent a type of message, I am confused! I use e-mail and regular cell phone usually. What is the difference between SMS and MMS text? Do I add o11 + country code+ the local number???

If you both have Black berry! Just use BBM. so simple and FREE. I use it all the time with my friends who are in Uk or in Japan.

Yeah. BB messenger is the coolest thing if you both have BBs. And free is definetly better than cheap. .
