    i tried to download aim, and it said that mydevice does not meet the system requirements, why? and how do i fix it?

    What version software came with your new berry? you should be able to goto mobile.blackberry.com and get the aim app from tere.

    ok goto Options, then Status then About and it will tell you your blackberry software version. It could be 4.2.xx or 4.3.xx i'm not sure about Tmo devices.

    If i had to guess, I'd say 4.2.

    I thought the Tmo curves all rolled out with AIM preinstalled?

    If aim is not the only chat client you use try JiveTalk it works great and supports several clients.
