Ginally got my 8310 on T-Mobile UK.

And have had lots of niggly probs...

    1) Facebook - is prompting me about axloader.cab. I have attempted to research this, and apparantly it can be solved by changing the browser away from your carriers (ie tzones in my case) in options. Unfortunately, tzones is my only choice

    2) Opera Mini and GMAIL - both cannot detect a connection (although I receive mail and can browse).

    Help!

I'm sure that someone will wander here quick with answers, but if not head over to the T-Mobile forum and ask there.

Seems that a few poeple are having problems with facebook.

You need your carrier's APN settings for Opera Mini.

As hazy said - go to Options > Advanced > TCP and enter the APN settings there. The T-Mo UK ones are:

Are you downloading facebook from mobile.blackberry.com?

Have tried mobile.blackberry.com but it does not have a download link (looks like the pc version of the site), have tried from m.facebook.com, and also from an emailed link from the main blackberry site via my pc.

That's a bit strange as when I go there from my bb browser it is fine.

Try this BlackBerry - Facebook for BlackBerry Smartphones

hi Hazysky, that's where I got the download link emailed to me. I think the problem seems to be that the "tzones" browser interprets pages as a standard browser and not a wap browser. I tried to set "Blackberry" emulation in the advanced options as advised on another thread, with no luck

I'm stumped. Hopefully another T Mobile user will come and help you as it's obviously something to do with Tzones & I am on o2.

Did you try downloading it to your Pc then installing it via desktop manager? The link above also includes a download for PC.
