I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I've been on iPhone since the 3GS but have decided i'm bored of iOS and wanted a change. I don't like the cluttered/messy/buggy Androids, and not too keen on doing things Microsoft's way.
So here i am, with a new Z30 in my hand which is looking very smart indeed and remarkably cheap.
I'm a mobile web app developer (HTML5 mostly), and keen to help the community where I can. I must say the browser works a charm, all my software works first time, incredible.
Always a fan of the underdog, with Blackberry focusing on BES again, surely with devices and software like this they're due some luck soon (assuming they can ignore the piling bills for a bit longer ;-)).

Guess BlackBerry was not much of an option but more of a lack of options.

I got a cheap Z30 too! Doesn't it feel great to get powerful hardware, efficient software and not spend too much on it?

Care to start developing for BB10? You do know BlackBerry users are the kind of user that actually pay for apps, right?

What piling bill pal? They are not the ones burning money here! They are actually quite lean right now (even making some cash after all).
A web app developer you say? I think BlackBerry has been looking for people like you. Welcome to CrackBerry and enjoy BB10. Lots of exciting stuff coming along. Oh, and tell your friends!
Welcome! I'm a former iPhone user as well (though still an Apple design fan - just bought a new MacBook Pro - gorgeous).
I'm really looking forward to the passport with a familiar glee I used to have prior to an iPhone launch. Like you though, the iPhone has lost some appeal - I got bored.
