Hi All! New 8310 User.
I've posted a few times but never introduced myself. I'm a new 8310 user and I know I've got alot to learn! Coming to the BB from a 8125 (See Sig).
Just one quick question: How often do you have to charge your BB? I'm finding I have to charge every night and sometimes during the day on long trips in the car... Is this normal?
Thanks!

Welcome to the Crack House...
And if you're constantly having to charge your phone, make sure you don't leave any applications and browsers running or that will make your battery go down with a quickness. Go through the proper menu options to close them out.

Hey Shagasaur,
I set the backlight brightness down to 10 and it drastically increased my battery life Options->Screen/Keyboard->Backlight Brightness.
Have fun!

Welcome to the forums! I'm really amazed at how easy it is to learn how to use a Blackberry.

I agree. Though I learn something new about my BB seems almost everyday, the learning curve wasn't as tough as I thought it would be, esp coming from a Windows Mobile device

I also came from the 8125. Best decision I ever made was getting a BB. As far as your battery goes it really shouldn't need to be charged during the day. I use mine all day long and a charge it every two days.
There are many people that have complained about the short battery life of the curve but I'm not one of them. I don't close applications either. If I wanted to spend time closing applications I would go back to the 8125.
One thing that does work sometimes is to pull the battery. This is the answer to most issues that may arise with your BB. Give it a shot and see what happens.
